FAQ

1. How long do I have to wait to receive my admission?

Bachelor applications usually take four to six weeks to complete, starting from the date of submission. Master applications take a little longer, usually between two and three months.

The duration also depends on each university and its deadlines. Delays are possible. We can only start the application once we receive the complete application documents.

2. I want to apply to a specific university. Can you apply me at my desired university?

We try our best to apply to universities that fit our students’ wishes. Some universities have specific language and formal requirements that may not allow an application before the language course or foundation year. In such cases, we can support the application after the required preparation has been completed.

3. Which application documents do I have to submit?

Application documents vary depending on whether you are applying for a Bachelor’s degree, Studienkolleg or Master’s degree. Our team will confirm the required documents after checking your educational background.

4. My certificates are not issued in English or German. Do I need to translate them?

Yes. Please send us certified copies of the original certificates and certified copies of the translations. Translations can usually be certified by the translator.

5. What is an attested or certified copy and how do I certify my documents?

Certified copies are officially confirmed true copies of an original. We need certified copies of your school certificates and, if applicable, university certificates and transcripts.

You can usually certify documents at a notary authorised to certify documents or preferably at the German Embassy in your country. Translators cannot normally issue certified copies of original certificates.

6. I assembled all documents. How do I send them to you?

Once you have assembled all documents, please send them via courier to our office in Bonn:
