Accommodation Placement Service
We support students with organised accommodation placement for their stay in Germany. Options include a single room in a shared flat, a private apartment or, where available, a host family stay.

Select the service
Select the accommodation placement service during the application process. You will receive an accommodation confirmation for visa purposes. Rental fees are not included in the service.

Share your arrival details
Once your German student visa has been granted, inform our staff about the next possible course start date. Book your flight and send us a scan of your e-ticket at accommodation@schiller-language-school.com.

We search for options
Our staff will search for suitable accommodation and contact landlords based on your preferences. You usually receive the confirmation of your address around two weeks before arrival.

Prepare deposit and rent
Upon arrival, you will usually need to provide a €1,200 security deposit plus an advance rental payment of three months.

Sign and receive your keys
After arrival in Germany, the rental contract will be signed and you will receive the keys for your accommodation.
Important accommodation note
The housing situation in Bonn and Berlin can be competitive. We will select the best possible available option for you, but exact location, size and room type always depend on availability. Students may usually switch apartments after three months by informing the landlord in good time.
